And the "Best of Show" map at the annual Cartography and Geographic Information Society goes to David Imus of Oregon. Imus worked alone on his map seven days a week for two full years, nearly 6,000 hours total. The U.S, wall map is about 4 feet by 3 feet and done on paper.
